Our Unique Montessori Philosophy

Enrollment packets are provided during the tours. Before an infant is fully admitted, the infant’s parent (s) will meet with the director to discuss the infant’s written feeding plan and individualized sleep schedule. This meeting is mandatory, and full admittance cannot be granted prior to this meeting.

A Gentle Start to Lifelong Learning

  • We recognize that infancy is the foundation for a lifetime of growth. Our environment is designed to foster:
  • Freedom of movement – Infants explore at their own pace, developing physical coordination and confidence.
  • Respectful caregiving – Every interaction is intentional, from diapering to feeding, building trust and security.
  • Observation-led teaching – Rather than directing, we follow each child’s natural curiosity and interests.

A Home-Like, Nurturing Environment

  • We create a space that feels like an extension of home, where babies are free to explore in a calm, beautifully prepared Montessori setting.
  • Floor beds replace cribs, allowing unrestricted movement once an infant is able to climb out and after 12 months, they transition to a nap mat, cot, or other approved sleeping arrangement that allows freedom of movement while still being safe.
  • Natural, simple materials encourage open-ended exploration.
  • A peaceful atmosphere fosters emotional well-being and secure attachment.

Independence Begins in Infancy

  • Montessori principles teach us that even the smallest hands are capable of self-expression and autonomy. Through gentle guidance, we support:
  • Self-feeding and early practical life skills – Encouraging independence at mealtime and in daily routines.
  • Hands-on learning – Simple, purposeful materials designed for grasping, problem-solving, and discovery.
  • Language immersion – Rich verbal interactions, sign language, and storytelling to build communication skills.
